What’s the Difference Between an Elopement and a Full Wedding?
Great question!
Elopements are all about privacy and simplicity: a small, intimate ceremony focusing on just the two of you (and maybe a few guests). No grand entrance, no “giving away,” no long speeches—it’s relaxed, personal, and dedicated to your vows.

They’re perfect for zero to a handful of guests. Invite your best friends, your kids—whoever matters most—but once you invite too many, it stops feeling like an elopement.

My elopement ceremonies are short, sweet, and customized based on your questionnaire. Generally non-religious, but I’m always happy to incorporate your spiritual and cultural traditions.

If you have more guests - please consider:
Destination Weddings/Full Ceremonies are more of a community experience with traditional elements: formal entrances/exits, tributes, and open/close addresses.

Full ceremonies don't have to take forever (they can be as short as 15 minutes) and they're more interesting and entertaining for your people than an intimate elopement.
